Dr. Woods grew up in Mascoutah, IL and graduated from Mascouth High School. Upon graduation he attended The University of Illinois and Southern Illinois University. He then went on to study at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Optometry. Accomplishments include the Yale-Knight Research Award for extensive study on vision and driving safety. Dr. Woods practiced Optometry for 20 years at Lenscrafters in Fairview Heights before opening Mascoutah Eye Care this past spring.

Dr. McDaniel grew up in Irvington, IL and graduated from Centralia High School. She recieved a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois and a Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She practiced Optomerty with Dr. Woods for 17 years at LensCrafters in Fairview Heights. She specifically enjoys working with children, and has seven of her own. Her family also belongs to Zion Lutheran Church in Mascoutah.
